Newton Running President

Stephen Gartside joined Newton Running as President in March of 2009. His career spans over 20 in sales, marketing and business development. Prior to joining Newton Running, Stephen held the roles of Chairman, President and CEO of Evolving Systems, a publicly traded software company. Stephen was also one of the early employees at Terabeam, serving as SVP Corporate Development where he helped write the company's business plan, and raise over $500M to launch the company.

Stephen is a passionate life long endurance athlete, completing his first marathon at age 15 and is still running hard today with a marathon PR of 2:53. Stephen has also completed an Ironman and enjoys some ultra running. He is married with two high school age girls.
